Principal's Message
Dear Parents, Guardians, and Students:
I welcome you to Bastian Elementary and a new school year. You are a vital part of our partnership in providing for the academic success of your child. I solicit your support and cooperation in working with me and your child’s teacher to ensure that quality teaching and learning experiences are provided for our students each day and that all of our children learn. We must be committed to improving the achievement, attendance, and attitude of our children and accept no excuse for failure. Our students must perform to their full potential. Failure Is Not An Option at Bastian.
As we work together throughout this school year, let’s ensure that the history and traditions of our school are maintained, our diversity recognized and the accomplishments of our students and staff celebrated. Join the PTO and take advantage of the services that are being offered through referral to our many family service providers.
I encourage you to stop by at anytime or call or write us should you have any questions and/or concerns. Join us in keeping our school the pride of the Sunnyside community, the Worthing Feeder Pattern and your school of choice.

Bienvenidos a la escuela Elementaría Bastian y a un Nuevo año escolar. Ustedes son una parte vital en nuestra sociedad, que tiene como objetivo el éxito académico de sus hijos. Me gustaría contar con su soporte y cooperación para que conjuntamente conmigo y el maestro de sus hijos nos aseguremos que cada día sus hijos reciban una educación adecuada. Nosotros debemos comprometernos en mejorar logros, asistencia y la actitud de nuestros estudiantes y no aceptar excusas en el fracaso. Nuestros estudiantes deben desarrollar todo su potencial. El fracaso no es una opción en Bastian.
Trabajemos juntos durante este año escolar y asegurémonos que la historia y tradición de nuestra escuela se mantenga y el reconocimiento a nuestra diversidad. Participe en el PTO y tome ventaja de los servicios que les son ofrecidos en nuestra comunidad.
